Scenic Winter Hiking Trail in Crested Butte

While trails and mountain passes with scenic views are closed in Crested Butte into the Spring, you can find this scenic highway that turns into a walking trail with packed snow with 360 views of the incredible mountains around the town. Here’s how to find it: 🚗 Park at the Snodgrass Trailhead 👉🏼 Stay to the right where you’ll see signs for Gothic Road (Hwy 317) 🚶‍♀️We walked 3 miles in but you can walk further (not sure how far it actually goes) 🏔️ you’ll see sweeping 360 views of Mt.
