Nurturing Inner Strength for Resilience
the holidays and this *too cold for outside* weather has me thinking..
we don’t talk about mental training nearly enough
we can be as strong, successful, energetic people, but as long as we are solely focusing on external training or successes we’re alway at risk
an illness, injury, death of a loved one will always be difficult. But if we practice nurturing our internal strength daily, just as we nurture our nutrition, exercise, relationships, we are much more likely to be bruised but not broken
these may seem silly and simple, but I’m telling you; consistent practice of these simple steps will strengthen the wisdom & confidence that comes from within✨
bonus tip: do something hard every day. If you struggle to pull away from work - leave your phone & take a walk. If you struggle to rest: take a seat and practice mindfulness, etc. 💜
