Discover the San Juan Mountains in Colorado

Are the San Juan Mountains on your bucket list yet?! If not, they should be! Located in Southwest Colorado, they’re actually part of the Rocky Mountains. But what makes them special, aside from their jagged peaks and super tall mountains, is that they are rich in minerals, making their lakes and rivers otherwordly shades of blue and green There are 32 lakes in these mountains, all formed by glaciers! I highly recommend looking at AllTrails or even better, head to the closest Ranger station once you get there and ask them for trail recommendations!
