Bob Bear Trail: Epic Arizona Hike

SAVE this post for your next Arizona Adventure 🏜️ ✈️ 📍 Bob Bear Trail This trail is between Phoenix and Sedona -a little out of the way- but totally worth it IMO! 🔹It has has everything you could want in a hike! You start by walking down in elevation through a Ponderosa Pine forest, to an aerid desert, and finally a lush oasis with waterfalls and swimming holes. 🔸This trail is no joke - with extremely hot temperatures, long trail and good elevation gain, people have to be evacuated every year. All Trails says 8.4 miles but you can keep going to find more epic swimming holes. Please only attempt this if you are familiar with hiking and are in good physical health. 🥾 8.5-10 miles ⛰️ 1,5222 Elevation Gain 🐶 Dog Friendly (but I wouldn’t, its way too hot) 🎟️ Permit Required - Google the trail name or find it on Recreation.gov *the permit needs to be physically printed out so plan ahead! 💦 Bring TONS of water. There is barely any shade on the way down. It’s recommended to bring 1.5 gallons of water per person Would you drive out of the way for this epic hike? . . .
