Website Launch Challenges and Lessons Learned

Fail story with Nash! So as some of you may know, I was prepping to launch my brand new underwater preset pack yesterday (it’s sick btw). I had all the assets ready to go! My training video filmed. All the support docs made, and a brand new website up and running. There was only one problem... The product page that I customized on wix was a template that couldn’t be changed for multiple products 🤦🏻‍♂️ In Other words, all my work was useless. But of course I didn’t realize it till I was almost ready to launch the site. - I woke up at 4am yesterday trying to trouble shoot and even called customer support but to no avail. Long story short, I ended up spending all day till midnight watching endless YouTube videos and half answered forums to learn how to code and link a custom database. What? Yeah I didn’t know that was a thing either lol. There were plenty of times that I wanted to throw in the towel and start over somewhere else, but I kept going. - All that to say, I promised a deadline and wasn’t able to deliver. Regardless of if it was my fault or not it’s still embarrassing, but a few good things came of it. 1. I learned a new skill I didn’t know exists. 2. The website is ready for action for the actual launch! Check the stories for more info. 3. The internet has so much information but if it’s not compiled into an easy to follow step-by-step guide, it’s extremely hard to know what’s good. - All that to say. I am rolling out a new brand over the next few weeks that aims to solve that very issue in a fun creative and engaging way and I can’t wait to see what you guys think. - Failure is not bad if you learn from it. It’s only bad if you quit! Stay tuned for the actual launch on Friday 🤞🏼 - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
