Trusting God's Timing
Do you ever get frustrated because the outcome doesn’t match your expectation? -
It’s a common issue that pretty much everyone faces and I think it has a lot to do with something we may not think about at first. We often become frustrated because we are working to try to force a certain outcome into existence, but the irony is, the more we try to control the outcome, the more we get frustrated cause that’s not our job. -
Our job is not to control the outcome. We can control our effort and our attitude and that’s about it. God’s job is outcome... our job is process. -
The problem is a lot of us don’t always get the outcome we want right away or ever and we question why God would let this happen if he loves us and wants the best for us. -
Sometimes we confuse Gods love with his conformity to our agenda. God cannot be manipulated and is not in the business of making sure we are happy with his schedule. He’s in the business of changing lives, and to be honest, a lot of times his schedule and mine don’t align and that’s annoying so I get frustrated. -
Here’s the kicker, Gods timing may feel fashionably late, but he’s actually functionally late. He wants to see if you will have the faith to trust him with the outcome and go through the process. When you understand that the outcome is up to Him you release all expectations except for whatever it’s going to be is gonna be good. God always brings everything together for good for those who love him. -
Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - •
