The True Beast
Everybody wants to be a beast till it’s time to do what beasts do. -
Everyone wants to be the best at what they do, But what no one sees is that beasts only succeed about 20% of the time. A cheetah only catches a gazelle 1 out of every 5 times. That means 4/5 times he comes up empty. But he’s hungry so he’s gotta keep pushing for that 5th time. -
I see a lot of people these days with lion tattoos on their arms or legs and that’s cool and all but I wonder if they realize what that really means. Do they really embrace the process or do they just like the title of being king of the jungle? -
If you want to win at anything you have to be willing to lose and learn through the process. Too often we’re scared to fail and that severely limits what we’re able to do. Over the past year and a half, I’ve tried to make it a point to consistently put myself in uncomfortable situations where failure is a high possibility. It forces you to learn and adapt so that you can be more successful and bigger things in the future. Gotta catch the rabbit before you get the buffalo. -
To truly be a beast it requires consistent excellence and adaptability to circumstance. Be phenomenal or be forgotten. -
Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
