The Resilience of Palm Trees
If you've been follwing me for any amount of time you probably have realized how obsessed I am with palm trees. And there's good reason for it. -
Sure they are a symbol of paradise, they signify warmth summer, chill vibes, and they look dope. We're actually growing a coconut palm named steve on my porch right now too haha. But there's another reason I love them. -
Palm trees are specifically designed in a way that most other trees aren't. While they definitely flourish in warm sunny weather, they specifically are designed to withstand storms. Often times you'll see hurricanes rip through areas and while buildings are torm up, the trees are still standing. Why? -
Palms are designed to bend. The top can be bent all the way down and theyre roots won't come up. To me it's an amazing symbol of what we are supposed to be as people. We can be bent, brought to our knees, flipped upside down, but if our roots are in Christ, we won't be ripped up. Whatever storm may come, it's gonna bend us quite a bit, but we were designed to survive. While everything else around may be destroyed we can stand on His promise. -
Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - •
