The Power of Embracing Mistakes

Have you ever met someone that gives off the vibe that they’ve never screwed up before? I feel like that’s half the internet. Those people aren’t fun to be around but for some reason a lot of people think that’s the best way to build a personal brand. - I find that the opposite is true. Athough it may not feel like it in the moment, making mistakes has been one of my keys to success (of course because I adapted and changed to what didn’t work). - Additionally people are attracted to raw authenticity. You don’t have to be perfect. Perfect isn’t relatable. Mistakes are relatable though and help your audience be more in tune with your solutions so don’t be afraid to share them! I’ll start. - So when I was in college I used to shoot concerts at a night club. I didn’t get paid much but it was decent experience. One time one of the DJs asked me to shoot a music video for one of his friends. I agreed. Shot edited and delivered the video, but I didn’t have a contract and as a result have still never been paid for that job. - Moral of the story... get a contract always haha. - I’m curious to here some of your fail stories and what you learned in the comments! - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
