The surreal image depicts a free diver submerged in a dark and otherworldly underwater environment. The water has a deep, eerie blue-green tint, creating an atmospheric and slightly ominous ambiance. The diver, wearing only a blue bikini bottom, floats calmly with their back towards the camera, arms stretched out to the sides. Their body is partially obscured by a white, cloudy substance, possibly sand or bubbles, adding a dreamlike and mystical quality to the scene. The surrounding area is dominated by large, craggy rock formations covered in coral or algae, creating a rugged, cavernous seascape. The image evokes a sense of exploration, tranquility, and connection with the mysterious depths of the ocean.

The Pitfalls of Self-Help Consumption

The dark world of self development. - For a guy that is always positive and trying to be motivating this is kind of a weird concept, but I’ve become more and more aware of it over the past few months. - If you’re anything like me, you love the idea of self development. I’ve read plenty of books, listen to podcasts, watched YouTube videos and have even bought courses. I’ve spent countless hours and lots of money trying to make myself into a better person, more physically fit, more successful at my job, more mentally tough etc. after finishing each book or podcast or video, I felt this weird sense of accomplishment. Not only was I temporarily motivated, but I was thinking by indulging myself in the world of self help “education” I was actually being productive. The problem was it wasn’t enough. - I became addicted, watching every video I could, taking book recommendations from everyone until I realized, I actually have gotten no further than I was before. - The problem with most self help material is that it is specifically designed to be a dopamine rush. The more you have the more you want. Additionally it gives a you a false sense of accomplishment. It makes you feel like you were productive, when what you actually needed to do was start emailing some people. - The point of this is not to bash the gurus or the industry, but rather to raise self awareness of where you’re at. Are you actually being productive or are you just reading and watching and consuming? A lot of this stuff is really good and does inspire us to be better, but how many times do we need someone to tell us to do something before we actually do it. - Self development is not bad, educating yourself is not wrong, but taking action and learning from it is the best type of self development. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • • #hawaii #passionpassport #nakedhawaii #eclectic_shotz #earthfocus #sunset #adventureculture #nature #earthpix #neverstopexploring #stayandwander #travel #awesomeearth #旅行 #sonyalpha #soft_vision #roamtheplanet #beautifuldestinations #bestvacations #ourplanetdaily #景色 #travelstoke #自然
