The Non-Committal Culture
We live in a non-commital culture. -
There are so many options right in front of us that we often times become distracted and don’t commit to anything. It’s honestly one of the biggest downfalls of our generation. -
The non-commital culture affects every part of our lives from diet, to gym attendance, to relationships, to career. Literally success in anything is determined by whether you commit or not. Success requires consistency. -
The problem is Netflix often looks more appetizing than the gym and the large pizza looks better than kale and quinoa (This is a huge weakness of mine😂). We live in a culture of options and although it’s great for capitalism, options are dangerous. Options make you think and when you think, often times your brain convinces you to go with the easier option. -
How do you stick to a diet, it sounds obvious, but don’t buy the food that’s not part of the diet. No bad option means you have to pick the healthy choice. How do you stay on track at the gym? Exercise some self discipline and don’t let yourself watch TV unless you’ve gotten a minimum 45 mins of exercise that day. The list goes on. Eliminate options so you’re forced to commit to what’s right. -
Life requires commitment. Find what it is you want and go all in on it. I don’t believe in plan B. When you only have one option you have to force it to work. Plan b just gives you an easy out. -
It’s ballsy. It may not work out at first but going all in is always the best way to get things done in any aspect of life. Commit. -
Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - •
