The Good Life in Christ

As humans we are far too easily pleased. The world is a carnival of counterfeits and we buy in. We think that a few drinks, a good time, money and the “good-life” is what life is all about. But it’s all counterfeit, it’s all a facade. The problem is as humans we are far to easily pleased. We settle for “good enough” or “may as well” and don’t even know what we’re passing up. If you’ve been to NYC, you know they have the best pizza… hands down. But if you haven’t been, you might think Pizza Hut - no one out pizzas the hut - spoiler, everyone out pizzas the hut haha. But if you haven’t been exposed to something better, then it would make sense that you could make that conclusion. In the same way, the world exposes us to “the good life” people spend their entire lives chasing it only to find that when they live it, it’s not as good as they thought. It’s just cardboard and pepperonis. The good life can only be found in relationship with Christ. It’s a completely different definition. It doesn’t mean you’ll be wealthy, or famous, or carefree necessarily, but it does bring a fulfillment and peace that nothing else can. Trust me I’ve lived a life that by most peoples standards would be considered aspirational… it doesn’t even compare to the what living life with Christ is like! Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 • • • • •
