Improve Your Skills to Land Better Clients
Maybe the problem isn’t your content 🤫
❌ The algorithm doesn’t hate you
❌ Brands aren’t always cheap
❌ You don’t need a magic outreach script
It’s that you don’t have the skills yet to be able to pitch, sell, deliver, and GET RESULTS for a client.
If you did, you’d be booked out.
And if you do have those skills but still aren’t booked, then not enough decision makers know about you (which is a marketing issue)
The thing is, skills are valuable so they come with a cost.
They either cost time( trial and error) or they cost money.
In other words they are an investment into your future value, and by extension, the value of your business.
It’s weird cause I see people dropping $100k like it’s nothing on a general degree that gives them no guarantee of work, yet they are unwilling to pay a fraction of that for highly specialized skills that have proven to pay off time and again.
I used to think that I could buy a $29 ebook and it would give me all the secrets to my business to be able to charge $5k to clients.
So I tried the tactics and failed miserably because it didn’t give me the skills I needed.
It’s like going into a heavyweight title fight against the 5 time champ and you got a high school gym teacher coaching you.
Good luck
And I had a ton of resistance to spending anything over a few hundred bucks.
But once I broke that belief and realized that I have to be the value that brands are dying to hire, my world changed.
In the past few years I’ve spent over $25k on self education and skill improvement. And it’s because of that, that I’ve been able to land bigger deals than most freelancers ever dream of.
When I show people my pitch deck, they want to hire me cause the ROI is so obvious. And it’s not your typical canva template. It’s psychologically crafted from 1000s of hours of research to the point where clients are like “if the deck is that good he can definitely help the business”
If you want to charge your worth, your skills have to be worth hiring.
If you’re tired of low paying gigs, comment “CREATE” and I can show you how to build a sustainable creator career.
But only if you’re serious.
Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙
