Prioritize Becoming Over Doing

Who you’re becoming is always more important than what you’re doing. - Have you noticed it? Society is always pushing to prioritize what we do: for a career, what people we hang with, what hobbies we take on, but there’s no emphasis on how those things affect you positively or negatively. - There’s this development stage that most people are missing or at least rushing severely. I get caught in it too sometimes wishing I was doing something more than I am currently, and to some extent I think the hunger and desire for more is very healthy, but it becomes unhealthy when you obsess and covet others for it. - Whether you believe in Jesus or not, you gotta at least give him props for the amount of influence he was able to create in just 3 years. If you do the math, that’s a 10:1 ratio of development to productivity. - If patience works for the most influential man in history don’t you think it would work for us? The devolopment phase is crucial to your calling. Just because you don’t have the answer right now doesn’t mean God is silent, it just means he’s letting you live out the 10 portion of the 10:1 ratio. - Stay on the ride. It may be long but it’s forsure worth it! - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
