Passion Isn't Everything: Finding Fulfillment in Life

You don’t necessarily have to follow your passion. - There’s so much hype these days about following your passion that it almost belittles the people who don’t. Here’s the facts, sometimes following your passion is not the answer. If it was we’d all own surf shacks and be professional athletes. - At one point I wanted to be a professional football player. I loved football and everything about it, but I came to realize that given my genetics it wasn’t highly likely. Not to say it couldn’t happen, but it opened doors to other opportunities. - The goal instead should be to find something that you enjoy doing and solves peoples problems. Sometimes that may be being a plumber and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. You don’t have to be an internet entrepreneur to create a fulfilling and sustainable life. It’s ok to have passions that are simply that... a passion, and not a career. - All that to say, don’t be discouraged if you don’t have it figured out. Most people don’t. Find something you genuinely enjoy doing and solves a problem and you will be well on the way to creating a fulfilling life from it. - Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
