We all have a picture in our minds of how life is supposed to go. But where did we get that picture? - Have you ever thought about that? I’m sure you have hopes and dreams and an ideal vision for the future, but I’m also sure some things haven’t gone all to plan and your picture may have some things that you didn’t expect. Or maybe your pictures blurry and out of focus. Whatever it may be I think all of us can say that our picture looks a little different than we anticipated. - But is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. When expectations don’t match reality it can lead to disappointment. So where did this expectation come from? Why do we believe what we believe about it? - Maybe some of it is societal, or family pressures, or cultural pressures or random things that happen in life that sway is to think that that is what we want our life to look like. The thing is, often times the picture isn’t even ours but we are trying to build it with our pieces. - You weren’t made to build someone else picture with your pieces. You were made with a specific picture (calling) in mind to build with what you’ve got. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the pieces in the box or some are torn or ripped or missing. God can even use broken pieces to fulfill his plan. - He gave us the pieces and the picture we just have to follow the directions and build it.
