Life's Mental Challenges

Just like diving, life is about 80% mental. I’ll be honest, I freaking suck at holding my breath. I’ve realized that if I’m in a pool, I’m actually not that bad, but when I get out in the open ocean however, there’s a switch that goes off. Even though it’s the same thing, my brain perceives increased danger if I stay under for a long time and therefore forces me to come up. It’s the same with life. Our brains tell us we can and can’t do certain things, not because we physically can’t, but because our brains always want to maintain the status quo. Therefore we have to train to overcome the voice in our head. Once you realize that life is mostly mental, you will learn to look at challenges in a whole new way! Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙 • • • • • •
