Greatness Redefined: Beyond Attention and Appearances
Our culture today confuses great attention with greatness. -
Growing up in the 21st century, we have access to literally anything we want. And although that is an incredible blessing, it can also be a pitfall if we aren’t careful because it creates a feeling of entitlement. -
When there is no struggle, we feel like we deserve something without work. That’s why you see so many people claiming to be entrepreneurs that have never had a successful business, coaches that have never had a client, public figures that have like 70 followers. We are all extremely out of touch with reality. -
We are indoctrinated into the belief that we have to be great to be noticed so we put on a facade and claim things that have no backing. The world gives “greatness” a platform so in a world where everyone wants to be a public figure, we perform to put on the facade. -
The thing is, you don’t need attention to be great. You don’t need to be famous to be great. In fact in a lot of cases it’s better if you’re not famous. -
Greatness is not an individual medal but a collective effort. How did you make people feel? What value did you provide to the world? Is the world a better place because you were here? And for the record, no just because you bought a Lambo doesn’t make you great, it just means you bought a Lambo lol.
Let’s flip our perspective on greatness and value what truly matters. -
Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
