Finding Strength in Vulnerability

It’s funny how we want to be seen but we don’t want to be seen fully. - I think one of humanities greatest fears is invisibility. We are petrified that we will live our entire life and at the end, no one will notice or care. So we do crazy things to be seen. In fact we make some of our worst mistakes and regrettable moments in an attempt to be noticed. - All that to say, the moment someone comes too close we put on a mask. We don’t want to be seen for who we really are, we want to be seen for the mask we create because if they knew the real US then there is no chance they would stick around and we would be stuck at square one. - The fact is, one of the greatest strengths we can have as humans is invisibility. Oftentimes we over compensate by being loud, having to be right, resorting to violence and making our presence known, when the real show of strength is wisdom. Violence wins battles but wisdom wins wars. - So the goal should not be to be noticed but rather to make an impact on people’s lives through vulnerability in experience, after which the true friends will come. - Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
