A solitary figure in a small wooden boat sits enveloped in a bright yellow rain poncho, silently drifting across a tranquil body of water. The mist-shrouded surroundings reveal a towering limestone karst formation rising dramatically from the glassy surface, its jagged peaks casting an imposing silhouette against the soft, hazy sky. A lone bird soars overhead, adding a serene touch to this ethereal scene that exudes a sense of stillness and isolation amidst nature's grandeur.

Finding Balance: Advice vs Self-Acceptance

It’s ok to care about what people think of you, but it’s not ok to be controlled by it. - I think a lot of times we’re fed a false narrative to be hard and not care what anyone thinks and to be honest that’s nearly impossible, let alone foolish. I see it almost on a daily basis. Someone on instagram or Youtube gives this advice, and it’s often with the best intention. It just doesn’t work practically. Some people actually do have good advice, but sometimes we perceive their hard advice as them hating and shun it or block the haters thus blocking potentially life changing advice. - Instead of taking the rogue route, find a mentor or 2 or 10. I have about 4 that I can think of for all different aspects of life. Meet with them and be honest and if they’re good, they will be honest back with you. A lot of times the truth hurts. It doesn’t feel good but if it’s sound advice, it’s worth putting into practice. - On the other hand, there’s a lot of bad advice and opinions out there that you can take with a grain of salt. You can hear it but don’t let it control you. The minute you do, you’ve already lost. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • •
