Create with Purpose, Not Just for Progress

Don’t just create for progress, create for purpose. - So a new job title has emerged in the last 2 years or so: creator. - It can mean a few different things but I most often hear it in the context of a social media content creator. - It’s honestly the best job in the world and I love it but there’s a huge problem, there’s an influx of people in the space that create for the wrong reasons. They do it for the money, or the fame, or the followers, or the brand deals, or the lifestyle. - Don’t get me wrong. All that stuff is super dope, but what’s the point if that’s all there is? - Let’s stop creating and taking just for ourselves. Let’s start creating for purpose. Start using our talents for things with more meaning than sitting half naked on a beach or getting hammered at a party. - By entering the industry you have an obligation to be responsible for the kind of content you post. Let’s start posting things with meaning more than ourselves. To inspire others with more than just #squadgoals or #outfitenvy but instead to really give them something to stand behind. Maybe then we can help change people’s lives because we truly have the power to do it. - Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙
