It’s a common misconception that success is a game of addition. We see other creators living the lifestyle and working with the brands we aspire to, and assume they must be doing more than us or something we’re not doing. Although this may be true, I’ve found in a lot of cases, success is more a game of subtraction of the things that don’t matter. There’s so many things you COULD be doing, and so many people that tell you that you SHOULD be doing them, but what are the 2-3 daily actions that you actually NEED to do in order to get the clients you want? Everything else takes too much time and energy to focus on so you may as well eliminate or delegate. If you find yourself burnt out with no time to do anything you actually enjoy and still feeling like you’re scraping by, chances are you need to eliminate some things out of your work day and replace it with one primary action that gets results.
