2020 - A Year of Perspective Shift
2020 shouldn’t make you feel sorry for yourself. -
As this year starts to wind down I think a lot of us are starting to reflect on it. At least I am. And I can’t help but think of what life was like pre corona, and to be honest it makes me a little sad and upset. -
I’m sure you had a lot of things that you usually do taken from you. For me it was travel and photo jobs: 2 of my favorite things. But as I look further into it, despite all the terrible things associated with the virus, there’s actually so much more to be thankful for. -
I think 2020 is the year of perspective shift. Instead of looking to materialistic things and trips for happiness, we were forced to engage with people that are closest to us. I know for me, it’s been great to spend a lot of time with Abby. It also gave me lots of time to work on some personal projects I’ve been wanting to start. -
Additionally I think it unearthed a lot of ugliness and corruption throughout the world that probably wouldn’t have otherwise happened. More people are looking to God than ever before for guidance and strength. We needed a major perspective shift and we got it in the form of this year. -
Sometimes what you want and what you need are not the same thing. No one wanted 2020 but I think it’s what we needed as a country to transform from a selfish, materialistic mindset to a grateful, relationship mindset. -
Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 -
