Sailboat Toga Party on Lake Union
What's a community tradition where you live that you look forward to in the summer?
My favorite is Duck Dodge in Seattle. a 30+ year sailing tradition on #lakeunion in Seattle every Tuesday night, with a theme each week.
This week's theme is "toga night." great excuse to rock this same one I've had SINCE COLLEGE so long ago lol.
Fun fact about me: I live on a 2 BR 2 Bath 40 ft Carver 🛥with my boyfriend and Cat on Lake Union when we're not traveling. We LOVE It as a home base because it fosters minimalism, freedom, and a sense of adventure even when doing nothing at home. Over 2000 people live on lake union, making it one of the most widely "liveaboard" friendly locations in the country, home to seaplanes, restaurants, and so much water activity. We're learning to sail this summer on our new-to-us 24 ft San Juan ⛵️, and we hop around the lake and check out restaurants in our tiny 4 person tender 🚤, "addytude" named after Camilo's 7 YO daughter.
Summer, sailing, water time, what's not to love about PNW in the sunshine?
