Rustic Desert Soak Experience

This hot springs experience in the Alvord desert was the ultimate escape. I got to get a camping upgrade to stay in a bunker “mash container” and shelter from the wind, soak in springs 24-7, and self control the temperature of each pool. The Steen mountains beside it were snowcapped and made for the most dramatic scenery in contrast to the desert playa out front. The places you find along desert drives will blow your mind.
