A rugged and scenic landscape unfolds in this breathtaking image. A small stream winds its way through a narrow canyon, its waters reflecting the majestic red-hued cliffs that tower overhead. The canyon walls rise up sharply, their stratified layers of sedimentary rock sculpted by eons of erosion into dramatic formations. Flashes of green vegetation cling to the canyon's slopes, adding a vibrant contrast to the earthy tones. The path alongside the stream is a natural trail, its surface adorned with loose rocks and boulders. The deep blue sky overhead provides a striking backdrop, highlighting the grandeur of this awe-inspiring natural wonder.

Night Hike Through the Grand Canyon

Today/yesterday I went to work, boarded a plane to Phoenix, drove 3.5 hours to the Grand Canyon to Meetup with a friend, began a night hike down the Canyon at 3am, ate breakfast at sunrise at phantom ranch at the base, hiked 17 miles, trail ran 2 miles and finished sans headlamp to see how far the moonlight could guide me. Haven’t slept in over 24 hours but could not feel more awake and alive.
