A solo hiker, clad in a bright yellow jacket and backpack, is traversing a rocky trail winding through the majestic Grand Canyon. The breathtaking scenery showcases towering, layered rock formations in hues of red, orange, and tan, sculpted by the forces of nature over millions of years. The vibrant blue sky is adorned with wispy clouds, adding depth and drama to the scene. Lush green vegetation and twisted tree branches frame the winding path, providing a stark contrast to the arid, rugged landscape. The hiker's determined stride suggests a sense of adventure and a deep appreciation for the natural wonder that surrounds them.

Hiking the Majestic Grand Canyon

Get out into the wild of the world early and often so your soul can recognize a deep sense of beauty. Hiked down 12 miles and 5200 ft of gain to drop off a friend for a river trip and deliver chocolate and paper towels for 3 friends rafting the Colorado for a few weeks. The Grand Canyon is the park I know most intimately after rafting 3 weeks down her river, camping, cooking, and bathing along her shores (private trip, non commercial), canyoneering her side canyons, and hiking rim to rim 4x times. The Grand Canyon is not just a wonder of the world, viewable from outer space, it’s the wildest space in the United States, period. Have you been? What would you like to know about hiking in the GC?
