A person wearing an orange jacket and a purple hat is wading through a narrow, rocky canyon filled with shallow water. The walls of the canyon are tall and covered in moss, with streaks of reddish-brown rock visible. The canyon opens up towards the end, where sunlight filters in, creating a bright and serene atmosphere. This stunning natural formation appears to be the famous Subway slot canyon located in Zion National Park, Utah.

Hiking Subway Canyon in Zion

My most memorable hikes of my life, we do way more than just hike. Can’t wait to get into some more of this action this fall. If you haven’t been already, Subway in Zion is incredible. Pro tip, go shoulder season for way colder water, and wayyyyy less people. We saw no one else that day.
