Hiking Among the Joshua Trees

Today is #nationaltakeahikeday and Boy Scout trail in #joshuatreenationalpark was unlike scenery anywhere else on my month long trip through the west. The desert is harsher, the Joshua trees each seemed to possess individual personalities and plots in a Dr. Seuss book, sand provided a resistance challenge, and everything tasted better while baking under the California sun, especially spicy pickles! Highly recommend this trail and national park, but the best way to experience it, is to CLIMB.
