Grateful for Permitted Adventures
I’m going to take a moment of gratitude for this app and its ability to connect people with their people, inspire, and grow the community to be more courageous by seeing others pave the way.
This year I’ve run the gamut on highs and lows but the highs are blowing my mind in one particular area right now, and that is being invited to permitted adventures I’ve been applying to for YEARS. Ultra grateful this year for that and am in disbelief at my luck of being surrounded by an incredible community and having become the kind of person others think to have along on their adventures.
Havasupai, AZ - was just invited for the 4th time this year and was able to visit this past March during flash floods. Thank you!!!
The Wave, AZ - Was able to go for the first time in January thanks to an invitation after t 13 years of applying. So grateful.
The Wonderland Trail, WA- completed in August with a friend. Endless gratitude.
The CO River Multi-week, AZ 🛶 - invited for a 3rd time after my first experience was life-changing. Next time I'll drop everything to go back.
Mt Whitney, CA - I did cartwheels when invited on a friend's permit. it didn’t work out due to their injury, but the chance was cherished nonetheless and was wonderful to train for.
Sahale Glacier Backpacking, WA - was MAGICAL and an experience I’ll never forget with great friends.
I can’t even begin to describe the wonderful non-permitted trips I was invited to join which were equally special, meaningful, and unforgettable.
If this were the lottery, in my scope of what I value and how high up these experiences were, it’d be as if I won several times. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world and “permitted to be joyful.”
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I see this as proof of intention, manifestation, the proof of changes and growth made to be a yes person and overcome limiting fears, and evidence the universe has your back and wants for you the things you deeply desire.
I genuinely love this community, sharing experiences together, and growing as a collective towards creating the lives of our dreams and becoming the best versions of ourselves we can strive for.
Thank you. I’m grateful.
