Embracing the Call of Adventure
As a little girl, I never dreamed of weddings or picket fences, dolls were a bore, and I had to be told to “get inside the house, right now,” forever wanting to stay outside.
When I’d look up at planes I’d daydream about where they were off to and make up stories about the interesting characters taking flight.
Driving by mountains (which to me now in ca, are hills) I’d wonder if it was possible to climb them, what was on the other side, and how long you could stay at the top.
I spent most days at the beach and shore, and either ran there on foot or rode my bike to get there.
Your path is yours, it won’t look like everyone else’s. And If you’re lucky enough to be true to it and stop following what you’re told you should be or do, you just might walk out of here with memories so beautiful it’ll bring tears to your eyes and make you want to relive it all over again on a loop
