Discovering Nature's Summit

What’s found at the top? Why climb high? To reach places that feed the human spirit and soul, feasting your eyes on views that haven’t been rearranged by the hand of man. To earn memories decorated with wild adventure, stories that will keep you warm as you grow old and bring out the sparkle in your eyes in the dimmer parts of a lifetime. Knowledge. That gentleness and fierceness both exist in nature. Both also exist in the explorer. To discover a map that leads to “enough.” There is no more at the top, its enough. You are, and so is this life. Its written and felt in the rocks, in the earth. To realize you need “less.” You can only carry what you need, and its much less than you think. To learn the pace of nature and her secrets. They point to patience and embracing change. And the best part. For me, personally. My wildness is found here. An inner roar that was silenced and told to be small for so many years, and now purrs in contentment after getting to be unleashed and fed to satiation. What will you find at the top? Who will you be when you get there? 📸: @hellofrankenbery
