Camping Serenity: Nature's Alarm Clock

Does anyone else sleep best while camping? I don’t know what it is, but I get my best zzz’s like this and most memorable dreams. It’s a huge part of why I seek it so often. Waking each morning in the canyon on the 21 day rafting trip was incredible to rise to the songs of canyon wrens, the last of the bats lingering from the night, and the sound of the river traveling downstream. The sun was our alarm clock, every morning a few moments earlier than the day prior. And each day a new adventure in store. Loved every last drop of my time there, even the poor weather days and challenges overcame.
