Antelope Canyon in Arizona Reopens on July 12

🚨 Antelope Canyon tours reopen on 7/12. Save this for your next visit to the Lake Powell, AZ area. The Famous Antelope Canyon in Arizona reopens on 7/12 for the first time since spring 2020 🥳. Visitors are welcome and you can get your pics of this stunning marvel, in person. It really IS worth all the hype. There are countless slot canyons in the western US, but the lighting and formations in these are something of wonder. As a former Board Member on the Lake Powell, Page, AZ Tourism Board and resident there, I’d love to help you with an itinerary to make the most of your visit. Here are some of my favorite locations to bookmark for your adventure there. 🏜 Book your Antelope Canyon tour at Antelopecanyon.az. If you can, DO BOTH canyons 🏠 Favorite VRBO’s/ Airbnbs in the area are on Torroweap drive with a view of the dam lookout point. Book them here https://t.vrbo.io/WoaN6cY0Ihb 🥾 Hikes: Horseshoe Bend ($10 per car), Davis Gulch, the Chains, Ropes Course, Cha Canyon, West Canyon, Buckskin Gulch (lookup on all trails) 🚘 4X4 rides and lookout points: Alsrom Point (google map it). Will take you to the famous gunsight butte lookout point (highly recommend a Jeep). ⛺️ Camping/ SUP launch: Lone Rock 🍽 Restaurants: Blue Buddha, Fiesta, Antelope Point Marina (view), Ranch House Grill (love their Chile rellenos in the morning with eggs). 🎈 Balloon Regatta 2021 11/5 - 11/6 (hot air balloon festival) 🚣‍♀️ Pro tip: Kayak at the bottom of horseshoe bend by renting a ferry and kayaks from Lee’s Ferry
