A crafty and playful paper plate shark model is depicted against a bright blue background. The shark's body is made from a paper plate painted in shades of grey, giving it a cartoonish yet recognizable fishy form. Its mouth is shaped from a triangular cut, revealing jagged paper teeth that create a friendly, toothy grin. Googly eyes add a whimsical touch to the shark's facial features. The fins and tail are cut from another paper plate and attached to the body, completing the three-dimensional ocean creature. This engaging and vibrant shark craft is likely aimed at entertaining and educating young children about these fascinating marine animals during Shark Week.

Shark Paper Plate Craft for Kids

With #Sharkweek kicking off we thought we’d take a swim with the sharks… so we made some paper plate ones that have a toothy smile. As kids make their craft it’s the perfect time to learn about sharks and answer questions your kiddo may have about them like how do they breath, why do they have so many teeth, and can I have a pet shark? Is it just me or does your kid want a pet “everything”!?! Happy Shark Week! SUPPLIES: Three paper plates Paint (we used light grey and dark grey) Googly eyes Glue Scissors DIRECTIONS: Paint two of the plates using the grey paint — one will be the body of the shark, and the other will be used to create its fins. Once the paint is dry, cut a small triangle into the body of the shark to create its mouth. Cut the shape of the tail fin and the top and bottom fins from the other plate. Cut two sets of teeth from the remaining plate. Glue the fins and add the googly eyes.
