Samoas Style Butter Cookie Bars

Drooling over these Samoas Style Butter Cookie Bars!⁠ ⁠ Ingredients:⁠ 1 stick of butter, softened⁠ 1/4 cup white sugar⁠ 1 1/2 cup flour⁠ 1 cup coconut⁠ 7 oz caramel sundae topping⁠ Chocolate sauce or fudge for drizzling⁠ ⁠ Instructions:⁠ Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.⁠ ⁠ Pour the coconut out onto a cookie sheet, cook in the oven until toasted and browned.⁠ ⁠ Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar together. Hand fold in the flour. Mixture will be crumbly, but comes together.⁠ ⁠ Press the cookie mixture into a greased 8×8 pan.
