A colorful and vibrant yarn art piece depicting a rainbow arching across a bright blue sky. The rainbow is meticulously crafted from strands of vivid yarn in the colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The arched shape of the rainbow is formed by wrapping and layering the yarn strands on a cardstock base. At the ends of the rainbow, fluffy white cotton balls are attached, resembling clouds. The overall effect is a cheerful and whimsical representation of a rainbow, created with simple materials like yarn, cardstock, and cotton balls.

šŸŒˆRainbow Yarn Art Ideas!ā£ ā£ Hereā€™s what you need to make this decoupage rainbow yarn art:ā£ ā£ Yarn (in the colors of the rainbow! We used red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and pink)ā£ Cardstockā£ Cotton Ballsā£ Small Bowlā£ Pencilā£ Scissorsā£ 1 cup Flourā£ 1 cup Cold Waterā£ 3 Tbsp Imperial Sugarā£ 1 cup Boiling Waterā£ ā£ Instructionsā£ In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and cold water. Add the boiling water and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature ā€” this is the decoupage glue!ā£ ā£ Meanwhile, trace half of the small bowl onto your cardstock. This will be the outline of your rainbow. Cut the yarn to fit along the arch on your cardstock. We used two pieces of each color for our rainbow.ā£ ā£ Once the glue has cooled, add the yarn to it and coat it completely. Remove each piece and run your fingers down it to wipe off the excess glue. Press the yarn onto the cardstock, following the outline of the rainbow.ā£ ā£ Each arc of the rainbow will get smaller, so youā€™ll have leftover yarn at one side of the rainbow. That is ok ā€” just snip off the ends of the yarn to match the other side.ā£ ā£ Stretch a cotton ball to make it look like clouds. Then dip one side into the glue and press onto the ends of the rainbow.ā£ ā£ Allow to dry overnight, then display!ā£ ā£ ā£ ā£
