Popsicle Stick Sun Mosaic Summer Craft

Today is the first official day of summer! Let's celebrate with this Popsicle Stick Mosaic Sun šŸŒž Craft!ā  ā  Supplies:ā  12 popsicle sticksā  yellow craft paintā  paint brushā  wax paperā  colored tissue paperā  glueā  scissorsā  yarn for hangingā  ā  Directions:ā  Paint the popsicle sticks yellow first and allow them time to dry. You can skip this step by using colored popsicle sticks if you have them.ā  ā  Arrange the sticks into a ā€œcircleā€ which will actually be more like a hexagon since the sticks can not bend! Glue them together.ā  ā  Add another stick on the middle of each of the sticks already glued together (the ā€œraysā€ of the sun)ā  ā  Cut a circle from the wax paper that will fit over the opening of your sun (the hexagon). Cover the wax paper circle with glue.ā  ā  Rip various sizes, shapes and colors of tissue paper and stick to the wax paper circle.ā  ā  Glue the wax paper circle onto the back of the sun.ā  ā  Tie yarn around of the sticks to hang
