Popsicle Stick Frog Craft for Kids
This Popsicle Stick Frog Craft is the perfect simple weekend activity for your kids.
You’ll need:
Green popsicle sticks (or plain ones, paint them green first)
2 large googly eyes
Red construction paper
2 pieces of scrap white cardboard (can be from a paper plate or toilet paper tube)
Glue
Scissors
Instructions:
🐸Place 4 or 5 popsicle sticks next to each other.
🐸Glue a popsicle stick to the top and bottom of the row. This will act as the frog legs, and hold the other popsicle sticks together (the frog body).
🐸Cut a 1″ wide strip of red construction paper. Roll it up and glue onto one end of the frog body.
🐸After all, a frog needs his long curly tongue!
🐸Cut the scraps of cardboard into ovals, make a fold at one of the oval, you will place a line of glue on this fold and use it to attach the eyes to the frog.
🐸Glue the googly eyes to them. Let dry.
