Kids Activities
Two whimsical, cartoonish frog treats made with ice cream cones and green ice cream (possibly mint chocolate chip, pistachio or lime sherbet flavors). Each treat features a pair of large, protruding candy eyes and a smiling mouth crafted from a flattened and cut Tootsie Roll, giving the impression of a friendly frog face. Bright red taffy tongues protrude comically from the mouths, adding to the playful and cheerful appearance of the treats. The ice cream cones serve as the base, creating the illusion of little frog figurines sitting upright. The pink backdrop provides a vibrant and cheerful contrast to the green color of the frozen treats.

Mini Ice Cream Cone Frogs

Mini Ice Cream Cone Frogs🍦🐸⁣ ⁣ Ingredients: ⁣ Tootsie Rolls (each Tootsie Roll Midgee will make 6-8 frog mouths)⁣ Red Taffy (Cherry Jolly Rancher Chews, Starburst Chews, or salt water taffy)⁣ Jumbo Candy Eyes (2 per frog)⁣ Mini Ice Cream Cones⁣ Green Ice Cream (mint chocolate chip, pistachio, lime sherbet)⁣ ⁣ Instructions:⁣ 🐸 Soften the Tootsie Roll by heating it on the defrost cycle in a microwave for 8-10 seconds. Flatten it out then cut it into strips to create the frogs mouths.⁣ ⁣ 🐸 Soften the red taffy using the same method. Flatten the taffy then cut out frog’s tongues. I thought it was fun to make really long tongues, but you can keep it simple and make short ones.⁣ ⁣ 🐸 Have all the mouths and tongues, plus two jumbo candy eyes ready to put on each frog before you start scooping out your ice cream.⁣ ⁣ 🐸 Fill the mini ice cream cones with green ice cream then add a scoop on top. Immediately place two jumbo candy eyes on top of the green ice cream.⁣ ⁣ 🐸 Then add one Tootsie Roll mouth, and a red taffy tongue.⁣ ⁣ 🐸 Your ice cream cone frogs are ready to serve, but you can also make these and place them in the freezer for later.⁣ ⁣ ⁣
