Homemade Peppermint Bark Recipe

Peppermint Bark You’ll Need: •16 oz package of white chocolate almond bark •1 tsp of peppermint extract, divided •16 oz package of chocolate almond bark •1/2 cup of crushed candy canes •parchment paper •ziploc bags •rolling pin •baking sheets Instructions: •Line baking sheet with parchment paper. •Place candy canes in a ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin. •Add chocolate almond bark to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute, and stir. •Continue to heat for 10-20 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, and stop just before all the chocolate is melted. Stir until completely melted. •Add 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract and stir until combined. •Spread evenly onto the baking sheet, using a silicone spatula to smooth it. •Do the same steps for the white chocolate almond bark, add 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract, stir, and spread evenly on top of the chocolate layer. •Immediately add the crushed candy cane pieces before the chocolate hardens, sprinkling on top. •Break the bark into pieces and store in an airtight container.
