Galaxy Playdough Craft

Galaxy Playdough 🪐 You’ll Need: •1 cup of flour •1 cup of water •1/2 cup of salt •1 tbsp of vegetable oil •1 tsp of cream of tartar •purple, turquoise, and pink food coloring •pink, turquoise, and silver glitter •silver star glitter (This makes one batch of playdough, to make the galaxy playdough, you need to make three batches for each color.) Instructions: •Stir all the ingredients, except for the glitter, together in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens and clumps together. •Put the playdough on a counter and let it cool. After it is cool to the touch, gently combine all three colors together and knead them to create a marbled effect. •Be careful about overmixing and twisting right off the bat so that you don’t get a single color. •Pour the glitter onto the playdough and gently mix it in. •Now your kids can either use cookie cutters to make neat shapes out of their galaxy playdough or play with it to their heart’s desire!
