A mound of rich brown soil or dirt sits in a shallow aluminum tray. Partially embedded in the soil is a crude human figurine sculpted from beige or tan-colored clay or dough-like material. The figurine has a simple, abstract form with a rounded head, elongated torso, and protruding limbs. Its shape resembles that of a small childlike sculpture or a miniature volcanic eruption with a lava flow trailing down the mound's slope.
