A picturesque street scene in the colorful colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The narrow street is lined with rows of vibrant terracotta-colored buildings with terracotta-tiled roofs and ornate wooden doors. Balconies and intricate ironwork adorn the multi-story buildings. In the distance, a church dome and bell tower can be seen against the backdrop of a hazy blue sky, adding to the scenic charm of this historic Mexican town nestled in the hills. The street slopes upwards, creating an inviting perspective that draws the eye deeper into the heart of the charming neighborhood.

Local tip: if you want to look at San Miguel de Allende spread out below you, you can go to the El Mirador viewpoint or one of the many rooftop bars. BUT, you can simply also walk uphill on Correo. •• One of the most incredible things about San Miguel is how deceptive the facades are. You walk into what looks like a tiny one story house to find it has three floors surrounding courtyards, set a ways back from the front entrance. •• There is so much to explore if you look closely. #losethemap . . . . . #igtravel #wanderlust #mexico #visitmexico #méxico
