The image depicts a smiling young woman standing in front of a large neon sign that reads 'THE LAST BOOK STORE' in bold red lettering. The woman has long, wavy brown hair and is wearing a deep blue sleeveless top and dark pants. Behind her, the entrance to the bookstore is visible, with large windows showcasing rows of bookshelves inside. The surrounding area appears to be a lively urban environment, with trees and other buildings in the background.

There are few places where I will spend a lot of money. Shopping has generally irritated me. But if there are three things I will gladly overindulge in (in addition to #travel), it’s #books, food, and shows. •• This is one of my favorite spots to browse in downtown Los Angeles. It is the largest independent book store in California, and has plenty of spaces where you can plop down and read. •• Upstairs, small rooms and book tunnels lead you to different sections separated by genre. As you head towards the back, everything becomes tinged by that wonderful smell of old books. Heaven for a book nerd like me. •• Photo: @condoleeza_ . . . . .
