A serene and picturesque scene in Copenhagen, Denmark, depicting the iconic and vibrant Nyhavn harbor. Rows of colorful 17th-century townhouses line the canal, their façades adorned in shades of yellow, orange, and red. Charming wooden boats and sailboats are moored along the waterfront, their masts rising against the cloudy sky. Outdoor cafes and restaurants with umbrellas line the canal, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy the quintessential Copenhagen experience.

What’s the shortest layover you’ve ever had to see a city? •• Yesterday’s 3 hours and 10 minutes in Copenhagen was definitely the shortest for me. Thanks to great and easy transportation from the airport to the city center (seriously, it seems every Scandinavian capital has amazing, efficient 15-20 minute transport from the airport to dead center of the city - Helsinki is the only one I haven’t tested), I got to spend an hour in cloudy Nyhavn, taking a few photos and catching up with my wonderful cousin who lives there. •• Now Copenhagen is definitely high up on the list of places to actually return to and see one day. . . . .
