Being in the great outdoors is a peaceful break in so many different ways - so I thought I’d talk about it for #SanitySunday. •• A break from my screen. A break from worrying about flattering clothing. A break from urban noise. A break from signal and e-mails. In our 24/7 work culture, a rare thing. A break from polluted air. A break from worrying about hair and make-up. Some people upkeep hair and make-up outside and that’s each person’s valid choice, but personally if I’m not going out or auditioning/going to meetings, I don’t like doing any of that prep. A break from endless social media scrolling. •• Those are just some off the top of my head. Being outside gives me time to pause, be calm, think, process and reflect without any incoming beeps or requests disturbing me.
