A young woman with long, flowing brown hair is holding up a book titled 'The Body' by Bill Bryson. She has a warm and friendly expression on her face. She is wearing a blue crop top and matching blue pants or leggings, revealing her midriff. The setting appears to be a modern kitchen with gray tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances in the background.

[DAY 45] Books to help get you through social distancing! Save this post for future reference. #quarantinetips •• 1) “The Body” by Bill Bryson. As a lot of us are preoccupied by health and the inner workings of our body right about now, this humorous but educational look at the science of the body is a great read. •• 2) “Deep Work” by Cal Newport. Great insights into time blocking and other techniques to help you get into a state of creative flow. •• 3) “Slouching Towards Bethlehem” by Joan Didion. One of the best collections of prose by one of the most astoundingly insightful authors of the last century. •• 4) ANY travel book of your choice. Pico Iyer and Bill Bryson are two of my favorite authors. Since you can’t travel in person, travel via books. •• What have you been reading? . . . . .
