A breathtaking landscape of towering, rugged mountain peaks with pointed spires rises majestically against a vast blue sky with wispy clouds. In the foreground, a lone person clad in a vibrant purple jacket stands on a rocky outcropping, gazing out towards the turquoise-colored waters of a pristine alpine lake nestled amidst the soaring granite cliffs. The scene exudes a sense of awe-inspiring natural beauty and adventure in a remote, untamed wilderness setting.

This was taken mid-January of this year in Torres del Paine, Chile. We are exactly 6 months into 2020. I can’t even wrap my head around how much has changed since then. •• The world is different. We have been shaken in so many ways. We have seen the glaring failures of the way we’ve been living and functioning as a society so far, especially in the US. We’ve been reminded of the fragility of our existence, our insignificance in the grand scheme of things. •• We’ve also looked inwards. Re-prioritized. Realized the connections we truly value. Recognized what’s really important when our routine and usual reality evaporates. •• How has 2020 affected you? Comment, let’s talk. . . . . . #patagonia #chile #torresdelpaine #travel #gltlove #2020
