Thanks to @dodytsiantar for sending me this photo taken a couple of weeks ago at the wedding of two amazing people in Cyprus, her son (and my friend and collaborator) Andreas and his wife Anita 🙌🏼 I post this joyful photo while thinking that our lives feels more uncertain and unstable by the month, with technology rapidly advancing, violence all around the world, existential threats to humanity…it feels overwhelming sometimes. To most of us, I suspect. I have no good solutions to this except one: celebrate every moment of joy, friendship, and love you find. Celebrate the people around you, and never stop trying to connect to other human beings. It is so easy to give in to our baser selves and descend into anger and anxiety. Don’t lose your humanity, your empathy, or your hope, a reminder I’ve had to give myself this year quite a few times as well. Tag a beloved friend in the comments that you’re thinking of - let them know you’re there for them. . . . . . .
